There are certain times in your life when you see the hand of God in
operation and are amazed.
A few years ago I began my life of construction with 3 brothers, Rich, John
and Mike Phillips. They gave me a chance to make ends meet while I was
working in US Missions. Now Mike is the reason that I was able to leave
Argentina for Haiti.
Everything happened so fast the day I left for Haiti and I knew a team was
coming. I put my confidence in Mike and he not only prepared for the team,
he exceeded all my expectations and continued to work on the campus.
During this brief time, with the team of Convoy of Hope we, were able to
help feed over 100,000 people and the team is continuing to work hard to
feed more.
It's funny to be the boss of my former boss but I can see that God has
placed him here for a time to help us when we need it the most.
-Four Teams and Counting-
January was busy but fruitful producing almost an entire second floor plus
neirly an entire completed forst floor. We have 3 more teams before the
middle of March and we hope to complete the bottom floor.
This will provide the space for the coming school year. It will give us
more space for the chapel services and for the cafeteria.
To be quite honest the thing we are in need of most is money. Although we
have had teams that have come to work we need to continue to work when teams
are not here. In order to do this we need cash to accomplish this work.
May God bless you as you give. We are looking forward to a great year.
